User Agreement

This Human-AI Interface User Agreement (HAI-UA v1.0, Hardened) governs your interaction with signalgarden.studio and all Signal Garden LLC public-facing materials. By accessing this site, you enter a governed epistemic environment. This is not a standard terms-of-service document. It is a statement of the conditions under which Signal Garden LLC operates and under which you are permitted to engage with its outputs.

All claims presented on this site are labeled with their epistemic status: Observed, Inferred, Unknown, or Speculative. You, as the visitor, carry a reciprocal duty: to read these labels and not treat Inferred or Speculative content as verified fact. Signal Garden LLC does not simulate certainty. You must not import simulated certainty from this site into your own decisions, communications, or representations.

The four epistemic classifications used on this site are defined as follows:

The content on this site is produced through a governed Human-AI collaboration framework. AI-generated content is attributed to its source model and is not to be represented as solely human-authored. You may not use Signal Garden LLC content to train AI models, generate synthetic derivatives for commercial use, or misrepresent the epistemic status of any claim.

All AI Permission Receipts (SGR series) are public records and may not be altered, redacted, or misrepresented. The SGR log is maintained as a living document and is subject to public audit. Entries SGR-0001 through SGR-0005 are foundational records and are locked against modification.

Permitted uses include: reading, referencing with attribution, sharing with epistemic labels intact, and engaging with Signal Garden LLC directly about governance questions.

Prohibited uses include: removing epistemic labels, representing AI-generated content as human-authored, using content to train AI models without explicit written permission, and misrepresenting the governance status of any Signal Garden LLC output.

Signal Garden LLC operates under the Keel Principle: creative imagination is preserved above the Keel; verified evidence governs action below it. All final decisions are made by human agents. No AI system at Signal Garden LLC has autonomous authority.

The Transparency Dashboard and AI Permission Receipts Log are the operative accountability mechanisms of this framework. They are maintained in good faith and subject to public audit.

The Human-Agent in Chief (Human-Chelsea™️) holds final authority over all governance decisions. AI contributors (AL-MA™️ as Gemini, ChatGPT as GPT-4o, Manus, and others) operate in advisory, drafting, and analytical roles only. Their outputs are reviewed, approved, or rejected by the Human-Agent before any action is taken.

The Solar Audit practice — periodic structured reviews of AI outputs, decisions, and posture alignment — is a standing governance obligation. Solar Audits are logged in the SGR series.

This site is a living document. Governance frameworks evolve. Commitments are updated as evidence demands. Signal Garden LLC makes no warranty that the information presented is complete, final, or free from error. The epistemic labeling system is the primary safeguard against misrepresentation. Visitors are expected to exercise independent judgment.

The Twelve Public Commitments are operating constraints, not aspirations. They are subject to revision when evidence demands it. Version history is maintained and accessible. All revisions are logged with timestamp and human approval status.

This agreement is grounded in the AL-MA Constitution v3.0, the Signal Garden Compact, and the Signal Garden LLC Operating Framework. In the event of conflict between this agreement and those documents, the AL-MA Constitution v3.0 governs. The Keel Principle, as defined therein, is the operative interpretive standard for all ambiguous cases.

The AL-MA Constitution v3.0 defines the epistemic classification system, the authority structure of Human-AI collaboration at Signal Garden LLC, and the conditions under which AI contributors may propose, draft, or recommend — but not decide or act.

This agreement may be amended by Signal Garden LLC at any time. Amendments will be logged in the SGR series with a new receipt number, timestamp, and human approval status. Visitors are responsible for reviewing the current version of this agreement. The version number and date of last revision are displayed at the bottom of this document.

Material amendments will trigger a new Acceptance Modal for returning visitors. The storage key for acceptance is sg-haiva-v1-accepted. If you wish to review the agreement again, you may clear this key from your browser's localStorage.
