The Universal Signal Translator is one expression of AKO™ — Signal Garden’s frame-aware translation intelligence. AKO is the coordination layer that helps turn signals into usable meaning: checking context, routing information, preserving memory, and supporting human decision-making without claiming authority over the person using it. This tool is AKO in practice: it receives a signal (your file), translates it (description, summary, caption), and returns it with evidence labels so you can see exactly what kind of claim is being made.

How Files Are Handled
PDF Translation — Evidence Note
PDF translation depends on embedded text. Scanned documents or complex layouts (multi-column, tables, sidebars) may produce partial or reordered output. When this happens, the Translator labels the output with an evidence level — CERTAIN (clean text), PARTIAL (mixed), or INFERRED (scanned/no text) — and asks you to review before exporting.
